...finally got those pitches that I was whining about done. They're out to my circle of peers for comments. With luck, I'll be able to officially submit them next week...

...if you are curious about what the pitches look like, contain, how they're used, and even what I came up with, clicking here won't answer any of those questions, as it's only a screen grab of the web page I created to host the pitches. Since the pitches are huge .PDF files, they don't lend themselves that well to emailing (I already had one complaint. Sorry again APO.) I used iWeb from Mac's iLife suite. Took me about 10 minutes to whip that sucker up. Cool program. Same interface as I found in Pages, Mac's word processing and desktop publishing file (which I also used to create the written part of the pitches.)

...as as my financial reserves are all but gone, I've been spending my days searching for jobs. So much fun, that. Those nifty job listing sites on Yahoo and the like? The ones where you upload your resume, fill in some details and then you can search for open jobs and submit with a click of the button? It's a crock. Seriously. Three quarters of the jobs I clicked on simply jetted me over to the advertising company's own web site, where I had to re-enter all of my info again...

...unlike those long ago decades of my wayward youth, applying for jobs is a bit more interesting now. I've got so much more experience now and am qualified to do many more things. I no longer have to just dig ditches. Now, I can also cart the dirt away...

...does arguing with fear flavored numbskulls really make any difference, or is it all just an exercise in vanity?
