I looked the study over. While it is very interesting, like all other similar studies, it's not all that conclusive.

I have a sneaking suspicion we're much more complicated than all that. (My B/F is always complaining about how complicated I am ;-) )

Besides, if they ever discover a gene, next thing you know the wingnuts will come up with gene therapy to "fix" us.

Jim, I don't think that genes are the only thing that defines us, not by a long shot. But as I read the research, genes do play a varying role (from a lot to a little) in how we turn out. This study is yet one more that confirms a strong genetic component to sexual orientation.
