No, it's not because he looks like a child-molester (far be it from me to make an ad hominem attack on a man who just looks, acts and sounds so damn creepy), but because he gets away with spewing off crap like this:
...Falwell compared allowing a child to identify as gay with allowing children to play on the interstate and dismissed psychologists' claims that consent is fundamental to a healthy counseling relationship and that parents should not force their gay kids into therapy.and still be regarded as a kind, loving and morally upright human being. I've seen first hand what happens when kids are made to suffer for something as natural and normal as homosexuality by the superstitiously fearful -- it ain't pretty.
Falwell is vile.
