Just wanted to toot my own horn and share that I just found out I won the Carl David Memorial Screenwriting Award, given out for "...promot[ing] educational awareness and a positive image of gay and lesbian pride to the gay and lesbian community, its supporters and the general population..."
All that for a little script about monsters that slip out of closets to eat unsuspecting tricks....
