Gimme that old time Religion

"Clearly, the justices who issued this opinion seem determined to blur the constitutional separation of powers and to usurp the rightful role of the legislature," O'Malley said in a blunt statement. Hmm.
Organization that evades law, buys off complainers and pressures still others to be silent in the face of D.A. investigations into their Institution's own criminal misdeeds becomes pious advocate for Civil Law on an issue near and dear to their own private superstition and power base.
Like we couldn't see that one comming.

In fairness to O'Malley, he's one of the few good guys on the matter of pedophile priests, as in, has cleaned up that kind of thing before, rather than covering up for it (which is why he got sent to Boston).
