If I were to miss the 'II' from the Popes's email address - perhaps only put a 'I' would the message be delivered to the wrong Pope?

What would happen if I sent one to Gregory_IX@vatican.va?

I am a 25 year old who has gone to church my entire life. I became an alter server at the age of 7 a lector in my parish at the age of 15 a Eucharistic minister after I was confirmed at the age of 17 and I also sang in several different choirs for my church. I have taken an active role in my church following the examples set for me by the older people in our parish. At the age of 18 I was running several fundraisers for local charities. As I was getting ready to graduate form high school I was approached by my priest and confirmation sponsor. They asked what I was going to do for college. I still did not know and they both offered to help pay for my college education if I decided to become a priest. The thought had crossed my mind several times. And I feel that there would be no greater job that I could have than to serve God. However I told them that I could not. First of all I knew my priest did not have much money and I did not want to put him under any other pressures. However there was another reason. I am gay. I have moved from that area and I still go to church, but I have started to loose my faith. If God is so accepting of everyone, why does he supposedly hate gay people. Or is it just man that hates gay people and they say that it is God who hates us. I just wish that you would tell the truth on the matter. Is it God or is it Man.
